Within the scope of the service in question; in order to minimize possible power outages due to faults in energy transmission lines with a physical length of 64,519.00 km and an electrical length of 75,709.91 km (May 2025) located in the responsibility areas of 22 Different Regional Directorates of TEİAŞ General Directorate throughout the country and to create a basis for preventive maintenance works; in order to detect deficiencies, existing faults or possible faults in energy transmission lines in advance, electro-optic systems (IR (Infrared-Thermal), UV (Corona), 4K Video Cameras and High Resolution Camera) containing 4 different cameras on a gyroscopically stabilized platform integrated to the aircraft are used for aerial control of high voltage lines and comprehensive data collection activities based on asset management.
In this context; Within the scope of the contracts made between TEİAŞ General Directorate and our Company at certain intervals, it ensures regular and periodic inspections of energy transmission lines from the air with helicopter platforms. As a result of these inspections, the current status, deficiencies and elements with potential for failure of the facilities that are the basis of preventive maintenance activities of the system operators are monitored by Expert Operator teams in the field in accordance with the criteria defined in the technical specifications. Among the equipment used in the inspection process:
- IR (Infrared-Thermal) Camera
- UV Camera
- 4K Video Camera and High Resolution Cameras
is available, thus providing comprehensive and detailed visualization of transmission lines.
Following the inspections conducted by helicopter, the visual data collected from the field is evaluated by the Expert Reporter teams in the field via the eHAT software developed by our Company in accordance with the relevant legislation, procedures and principles. As a result of the evaluation and analysis, the findings regarding the faults and deficiencies observed in the transmission lines are reported as a task to the relevant Regional Directorates in a fully integrated manner with the Operational Management System (OYS) of TEİAŞ General Directorate.
